Bachelors Degree in Crime Scene Investigation

This prepares students who decide to enroll this course on crime investigations. Investigating crime is an adventurous and challenging career for people especially the fascinated individuals on investigating people, the scenes and other vital events to solve crime problems. Additionally, Investigators are those people who will first arrive in the crime scenes when a crime is detected. Thus, here are the major roles or functions of investigators: 1) Investigators are the doers of the initial crime investigations- since they are the first people in the scenes, they do initial investigation about what happened?, who are involved?, what was possibly the reason that the crime happened?. Therefore, information given by the media is extracted primarily from outstanding sources: the crime investigators. 2) The investigators are also responsible in securing the crime scene. They do not allow any third party, unknown individuals or any other person who is not obliged to be in the crime area or scene. 3) These experts also do the preservation of evidences. They make sure that no other person can change the facts by not allowing anyone to hold any object in the crime scene.  Thus, the investigators play an important role in ruling out the criminals by analyzing the evidence preserved in the crime scenes. It is therefore expected that a variety of trainings and other important things to enhance skills will serve as a requirement while undergoing the course.

          When a student able to gain the degree through passing the qualifications and requirement in this course, the graduates of Bachelors Degree in Crime Scene Investigation can work in their chosen field in both public and private institutions such as: Foreign Bureau of Investigation, NSA and CIA, private consultancies offices, Police services such ad State and Federal, Customs Offices, chemical laboratories analysis and others will be for Department of quarantines.

          The investigators particularly on crimes have good appeals on media due to its meticulous and admiring work in crime scenes. It will take them hard working hours to solve a case for they need to analyze every detail. Therefore, people who aspire to be an investigator must be dedicated, honest and must have pledge in protecting the public.
