Another interesting branch of the teaching field is in Special Education. This is a special program that discusses mainly on the design and provision of information dissemination and other educational services, either through teaching or the development of necessary skills, to children or adults with special learning needs or disabilities. Eventually, this will result to the development of education teachers.

The most important consideration though includes a healthy mind and body, able to pass secondary education and the passion in dealing with individuals with physical or mental disabilities. They will undergo in a comprehensive course of study that will have a strong basis in the liberal arts, course work in humanities, social sciences and math and science. They will also provide an in-depth discussion in general education and special education. They will be given modules about instructions in diagnosing learning disabilities, developing individual education plans, counseling special education, supervising and teaching special education students and the laws pertaining to the practice and regulation of the field. The latter will serve as a guide for the inspired teacher-to-be as they will perform their tasks and responsibilities in their extent and limitation.
Students will begin early in their course of study with placements in schools for part time or agencies throughout the area while promoting continuous hands-on activities. Successful students who graduate in this course will surely have a teaching job. However, the number of demands for employment may be lesser than the other fields of teaching, but when an individual will be able to go through the employment process, there are a number of benefits, high compensating salaries and special trainings that will surely enhance and promote one’s satisfaction in teaching.
